Most people ask these first

How long does a book actually take?
+Most books take three to six weeks from the day you send the first invitation. Two to four weeks for contributors to write in, then ten to fourteen days for typesetting, proofing, printing, and binding. If you have a deadline, tell us - we will say honestly whether we can hit it.

What if my family doesn't contribute?
+This is the question we get most often. It almost never happens. Once people see a beautiful invitation with a real prompt, 70-90% write in within ten days. We send up to three gentle reminders to anyone who hasn't, and our prompt library has a version that works for the cousin you haven't seen in twelve years. Books with as few as eight contributors still feel full - there's no minimum.

Can I see what someone wrote before printing?
+Yes. As the book's organizer, you see every contribution as it comes in, and you can edit lightly for typos or remove anything that feels off. We always send you a final PDF proof before printing - nothing is bound until you say yes.

What does it actually cost?
+A finished book starts at $45 for Spiral, $55 for Softcover, $99 for Hardcover, and $139 for Heirloom. There is no per-contributor fee, no markup on photographs, and standard US shipping is included. Full pricing is on the pricing page.

What if it doesn't turn out right?
+If your finished book has a qualifying printing, binding, or shipping issue, we will arrange a replacement. Because every book is custom printed after proof approval, approved content choices and design preferences are not returnable for a refund. Full details are on the returns page.

Can I order more than one copy?
+Yes - most families do. Additional copies are discounted by binding: Spiral extras are $35, Softcover extras are $45, Hardcover extras are $79, and Heirloom extras are $115. We keep your book on file, so reprints take ten days and require nothing on your end except the order.
